Martin Bailey began his career as a freelance illustrator in 1980,
after completing a Diploma in Visual Communication Design
(majoring in illustration ) at Wellington Polytechnic School of Design.
He has freelanced in Wellington, Sydney, Tokyo, San Francisco,
and now freelances from his home northwest of Auckland NZ,
which he shares with his dogs, cats, children, mother
and partner.
